The George Street Festival sprang onto the festival scene in the late 1980s through the cooperation of the George Street traders.

If you don't know this as yet, the Czech and Slovak Republics (formerly known as Czechoslovakia) have always been good at making films and telling stories.

The Town of East Fremantle has been facilitating this festival since the 1990s.

Held at Arcadia Waters Swanbourne, 141 Claremont Crescent, Swanbourne, this free event will feature a host of activities for grandparents, parents and grandchildren to enjoy together.

A festival to celebrate brave human rights defenders.

The Community of Wanneroo will bring you a taste of their local arts and crafts, businesses, food stalls, coffee retailers, rides, goats, horses, birds, and spectacular fireworks on both the Friday and the Saturday nights.

Join in on a casual 9km return walk through beautiful mixed jarrah forest to a large granite outcrop, the perfect location to enjoy a picnic, a glass of wine and watch the setting sun and the rising full moon.

They'll be hosting 10 Food Trucks which will keep everybody happily fed, there is an inflatable obstacle course to keep the kids busy and a small licensed bar area for adults to enjoy a cold drink.

Party on the night of Friday the 23rd of November this year which is known as Tardis Day to Doctor Who fans (or Whovians).

The fair will be open from 10 am to 4 pm each day, so there will be ample time to peruse the amazing wares and to speak to the artists and artisan.
